2017 was a very fun year where me and my family . Despite the very busy and demanding schedule from work , we managed to steal some time for a wonderful experience at the Lost World of Tambun and Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson. I will write about Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson another day but at the meantime , see this for our envy.<\/p>\n

We went to Lost World of Tambun in Aug 2017 . It was a beautiful experience and the kids keep pestering me to go again. Did not know that there is a Needle of Tambun (see picture) . Needless to say the key attraction was the water theme park and surprisingly the Ipoh Street provided many delicious and famous food you can find in Ipoh. For example the popiah, chicken rice, soya milk and many more. The kids love the water theme park and the food.<\/p>\n

Lost World of Tambun also boast a zoo which displays\u00a0many different animals\u00a0from the animal kingdom from mammal i.e. giraffe, tapir\u00a0to different types of birds, reptiles etc.<\/p>\n

We also took the opportunity to visit KEK LOK TONG , a temple cave filled with stalactites and stalagmites. Stalactite and stalagmite, elongated forms of various minerals deposited from solution by slowly dripping water. A stalactite hangs like an icicle from the ceiling or sides of a cavern. A stalagmite appears like an inverted stalactite, rising from the floor of a cavern.<\/b><\/p>\n\n\n

HISTORY LESSON<\/strong> – Do you know that the PERAK Sultanate has its root from the MELAKA Sultanate. After the collapse of the MELAKA Sultanate due to the Portuguese invasion in 1511, Raja Muzaffar, was invited to rule Perak and became the first Sultan of the Sultanate of Perak. TUN SABAN and NAKHODA KASSIM invited Raja Muzaffar to be installed in KAMPAR with the administrative center in TANAH ABANG. Among the royal memorabilia include CURA SI MANJA KINI sword, a dagger called TAMING SARI , SEAL stamp and LETTER. MESTIKA DEW<\/p>\n\n\n\n
